We’re happy to announce that Lisa Sanchez’ cats have won a copy of Sesshu Foster’s World Ball Notebook, for their psychic questions about the meaning of life. Subcomandante Lana Banana, evidently the more social of the two cats, wrote:
We wondered if you could find out whether Aztec cats travel too across time-space continua and, if they do, whether their toy mice make the jump with them.
Oh, and Gris Gris wants to know whether that would complicate Husserl’s phenomenology, or simply affirm it (she hates Heidegger).
So congratulations to Lana Banana, Gris Gris, and their owner Lisa Sanchez, who will soon receive World Ball Notebook, courtesy of City Lights and Molossus. While we do not yet have an answer—we’re waiting for the chicken man—we hope that Foster’s poetry will suffice for now.
Thanks to all Molossus readers who entered the contest—we hope the future will include more book giveaways!
